**Your new company**

This International company are a leading supplier and manufacturer of products to Australian venues. Located in Adelaide’s western suburbs, this company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**

This is a permanent full-time position based in the Western suburbs and an immediate start is available. In this role you will supervise and direct labour to ensure tasks are completed to the production schedule. Duties will include but won't be limited to;
- Lead schedule execution of all production plans through team leaders.
- Monitor and regulate employee’s performance.
- Resolve production issues when they arise or know where to seek appropriate support.
- Validate and ensure WIP inventory is reconciled to GL in collaboration with Production scheduler.
- Promote a safety culture, implement/support 5S activities and skills matrix.
- Ensure monthly WIP is reconciled, and any discrepancies investigated and adjusted.
- Identify opportunities in efficiency, safety, and quality to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with the production manager to provide process improvements within key manufacturing areas.
- Leads 5S and Kaizen initiatives and be a mentor to team leaders and operatives.
- Monitor and resolve timely any outstanding corrective actions.
- Focus on quality and 5S + Lean.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Must have production experience including LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen principles.
- Proven people and leadership skills.
- Satisfactory outcomes of a National Police Check.
- Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
