As a Landscape Construction Apprentice you will have the exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the industry learning the skills of the trade.

**ABOUT CCGT**:

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be employed by CCGT and will work day-to-day with our host employer in order to receive your on-the-job training in the industry.

**ABOUT THE HOST EMPLOYER**:
Our Host Employer has been in operation since 2018 and specialise in residential, design, construction, and maintenance services. They pride themselves on the delivery of quality products to their clients and majority of their work requires them having a high-end level of attention to detail. They're looking for a motivated Apprentice with a great work ethic to join their busy team

**DESIRED QUALITIES**:

- Current driver's license & own vehicle
- Hold a current WHS white card
- Strong work ethic, high attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- The ability to complete work that requires a high level of manual handling in various weather conditions
- Work experience with stone cladding & paving (desired, but not essential)
- An eagerness to learn new skills and a desire to succeed in the industry

**KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Constructing retaining walls (sandstone, besser block, concrete sleeper & more)
- Undertaking stone cladding
- Paving, tiling & concreting
- Completing pool scapes & pool renovations
- Planting various plants & preparing garden beds
- Working on numerous landscaping maintenance tasks
- Assisting the other, qualified tradesman in order to learn and understand the business and the landscaping industry
- Maintaining and cleaning tools, equipment & the work site regularly
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols on construction sites
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient project completion

Working Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, with the potential for over-time

As part of this Apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Landscape Construction through OFF the Job Training at TAFE NSW Ourimbah Campus over a period of 48 months.
