- 2-3 days per week (with potential to increase hours)

- Weekdays only (no weekends, no late nights)

A modern specialist dental practice in Brisbane CBD, with a warm supportive team caring for patients who present with oral pathology, orofacial pain and other medically-related conditions affecting the mouth, head and neck.

**The Role**

You will work in a challenging and sensitive environment, encountering patients who may have serious illness, chronic diseases, or complex medical conditions. We are therefore looking for someone with a friendly and caring demeanour, who can empathise and build relationships and trust with patients, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Your role will include:

- General reception and administrative duties
- Work in a multidisciplinary setting, and liaise with dental and medical colleagues, imaging and pathology providers, pharmacies etc.
- Clinical work (including sterilisation and chairside assisting duties such as biopsies)

**Skills Required for this Role**
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritise
- **Must **have high computer literacy
- Rapid and accurate typing skills (e.g. Dictaphone typing when required)
- Experience in clinical assisting/reception role preferred
- Knowledge of dental/medical terminology highly regarded
- Knowledge of **Genie **software highly regarded
- Kind, helpful and caring towards patients and staff
- Honest, reliable and efficient
- **Must **have high attention to detail
- Well-organised, takes initiative
