As per the role desciption.The GAP Behaviour Officer will work collaboratively with all GAP and QRIC employees, industry, volunteers, and key stakeholders to enhance GAP's functionality as an animal welfare entity and to raise its visibility in the community. As the kennels operate on a shift system, shift work will be necessary.
The position is also responsible for assisting with the promotion of the GAP for the QRIC to members of the public. This position encourages, educates, and supports racing industry participants, foster carers, adoption applicants, and new owners, as well as members of the community

Applications will remain current for twelve months and may be used to fill recurring vacancies during this time.

Employees of QRIC are precluded from betting on all racing events throughout Australia and internationally during the period of their employment.
