**The Opportunity**:
Partnered with our host **Statewide Bearings**, we are looking for an **Internal Sales Trainee** who is keen to learn and work in a mechanical engineering environment while completing a **BSB30120 Certificate III in Business Customer Engagement.**

This position is open to school leavers looking to build a sales-orientated career path and who would be interested in working within a bearings and power transmission environment for this 12-month training opportunity.

This position is full-time, and based in **Wingfield, Adelaide.**

You will have mentoring and support while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework over the 12month traineeship.

Your duties will include, but is not limited to:

- Process current and outstanding orders
- Liaison and communicate with internal procurement team to achieve customer deliveries
- Manage sales questions from customers to secure new orders
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide support

**About You**:
You must have excellent communication skills and be ready and willing to undertake some manual handling in a mechanical industrial setting. You also have an interest in pursuing a sales and customer service career and enjoy work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers
- Interested in learning about Statewide Bearings products and services and how to provide customer service****:

- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
- Have a positive attitude, be reliable and committed to completing the traineeship
- Ability to prioritise, with good time management skills
- Be able to perform manual handling duties, including frequent lifting of up to 15kg
- Able to ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
- Have mechanical aptitude have good attention to detail and methodical approach

In addition, you must be:

- An Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol, and Police Check
