About the role
As our Project Officer, you’ll provide general project support for the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO)-RACGP Partnership Project and coordinate specific pieces of work such as the development and publication of NACCHO-RACGP National Guide lifecycle charts. Reporting to the NACCHO-RACGP Partnership Project Lead, you’ll liaise with key stakeholders, maintain project documentation, support working groups, and assist with resource dissemination. Periodic interstate travel and weekend/evening work may be required based on project requirements
**As our Project Officer, you'll also**:
Provide secretariat support for project governance groups, including the Project Reference Group and Executive Group.
Support the annual update process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health check recommendations.
Develop and maintain project planning documents and contribute to project reporting.
Assist with administrative and logístical support, ensuring accurate documentation of project updates and resource dissemination
Skills & Experience
Experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement, preferably in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefings, and background papers.
High-level organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to track project progress effectively.
