: Production Lead

Job Purpose: To oversee the production process and ensure the timely manufacturing of high-quality limestone pavers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage the limestone paver manufacturing process from start to finish, including setting production targets, scheduling equipment and labour, and ensuring the timely delivery of finished products
- Supervise and train production staff, including operators, technicians, and other personnel, to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities
- Monitor the production process and make adjustments to the manufacturing process as needed to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Ensure the proper proactive and reactive maintenance of all production equipment and assets.
- Analyse and report on performance metrics such as efficiency, downtime, scrap rates, and quality issues
- Work closely with the sales team to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs and retail stock.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications/Experience:

- Background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role, preferably in the limestone paver industry
- Strong organizational and project management skills are advantageous.
- Experience in managing a team or a previous leadership role is highly desirable.
- Forklift license is essential.
- MR license is advantageous but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
