We are currently seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to service our customers in the hardware industry. With a reputation built on quality and reliability we are looking at expanding our current team of field technicians in the Melbourne precinct. The role will demand that the successful representatives will be able to provide prompt, efficient and reliable service to new and existing customers across Victoria covering everything from installations, maintenance, repairs and customer training. You will be backed by a support team and training will be provided. This is a great opportunity to join a leading national service provider to the hardware industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- All aspects of installation, fault finding, diagnosis and service/mechanical repairs on a range of paint dispensing & mixing equipment
- Manage all site installations as per company requirements.
- Provide training and support to clients after the installation of new products.
- Conduct fault finding, mechanical, electronic & computer software repairs.
- Manage all workflow according to schedule across the state as directed by the Customer Service Coordinators
- Provide timely and detailed diagnostics and service reports.
- Ability to work extended hours when required.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in service and repair of domestic or industrial appliances is ideal for this role.
- A restricted electrical license or experience to work on equipment up to 24 volts (beneficial)
- Previous experience in a maintenance or technical service role
- Use and understanding of computers with ability of making software changes.
- Ability to read, review and interpret maintenance and repair manuals and installation drawings.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills in both written and verbal.
- A professional approach to all your work.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Must have a current Victorian driver’s license.

Applicants with previous appliance repair, mechanical or electrical experience will have a distinct advantage.

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
