**About the role**
**Please note this is a 3 year fixed term role**
Reporting to the Capability and Diversity Specialist within the team, the Capability Adviser plays a pivotal role in engaging with employees and creating a great learning experience for the employee. This involves organising a variety of Learning and Development initiatives within LXRP and is responsible for the successful implementation of People & Culture programs.
The purpose of this position is to ensure participants have a great experience when being involved in People and Culture programs and initiatives, further enhancing the overall employee experience.
On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself:
- Coordinating the training calendar and scheduling learning activities, ensuring timely execution and adherence to established deadlines.
- Coordinating stakeholder management and logistics for training sessions, including venue booking, equipment setup and resource allocation.
- Managing participant registrations and maintaining accurate training records and databases in our Learning management system.
- Supporting the Professional Development strategy by managing requests and contracts between LXRP and external providers.
We like to work together when it makes sense, so when working from the office you will find yourself in workshops, brainstorms, and real life catch ups with people as you build rapport with your key stakeholders across the business and within the industry.
You will be part of a team lead by Dino Esmaquel (Capability & Diversity Specialist) who prides himself on servant leadership, being a sounding board for his team and letting you work autonomously. Dino values ideas, improvement suggestions and new ways of doing things - you will learn a lot from him
At LXRP we embrace and encourage flexibility, we work in a hybrid capacity, so you will work a mix of office and home. Our team typically works Tuesdays and Thursdays from the office. Our office is based in the Melbourne CBD, and the office environment is lively, chatty, and exciting.
This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $91,418 and $103,725 + superannuation.

Let’s get technical - what skills do we expect you to have?
- Strong planning and prioritising skills - you’ll be a busy bee managing and coordinating learning sessions and ensuring the training calendar is up to date
- Strong digital fluency skills with the ability to navigate learning management systems, Microsoft office suite including Teams, as well as reviewing/creating engaging and effective learning materials.
- Proven experience in coordinating and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate setting.
