**Job Description**:
Based in our Kings Park office with branch offices in other states around Australia and New Zealand, we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, proactive, and highly motivated individual to join as the Manager Factory Automation on permanent full-time basis.

**The Role**

The Manager FA AU & NZ role is a key member and will be responsible for developing and driving a national strategy for each Business unit (AT, LT & AE), each state based on target industries/segments. This role is also responsible for TNS, order intake and profitability of the Factory Automation business units (AT, LT and AE)

We are seeking a qualified professional who enjoys the diversity of a hands-on role and who is comfortable at both operational and strategic levels of the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director ANZ, the responsibilities will be:

- Monthly meeting catchups with sales engineer to discuss major opportunities & targets
- Drive IO, TNS & Profitability for the FA Team
- Organise/conduct product training
- Setting pricing/discount structure for market range products according to the appropriate channel (Distributors, Integrators, OEM and End-users)
- In conjunction with the AU marketing department, Market research, intelligence and planning for sales activities
- Setting weekly activities for all AT sales engineers, Managing leads and monitoring progress (customer visits)
- Interstate visits for training purposes and joint customer visits with sales engineer in the state
- In conjunction with the AU marketing department, Market activities including planning and organising exhibitions.
- Approve quotations before presenting them to the customer ((i.e. adhering to sales process)
- Approve solutions before handover to Engineering (i.e. adhering to sales process)
- In conjunction with Partner Manager, develop a third-party network of value-add partners, including system integrators
- Interface with BUs to drive the product roadmap

**Qualifications**:

- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Degree level qualifications or industry experience of equal level
- Sales experience in a technical/engineering environment
- Business to Business Sales experience
- Experience of value-based selling and pricing models
- Strong key account management skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate contracts
- Dynamic and motivated individual and a strong role model for the business
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Ability to manipulate MS Office tools
- Pro-active approach to daily work
