Public Sector People is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Services Officer to work at one of our key clients Within their Land for Wildlife team.

Reporting to the Environmental Services Coordinator, you will be required to work on-site two days a week, and the role offers various benefits, including one day working from home per week, site-based work, and desk work.

The role also operates on a 9-day fortnight schedule, and we offer free onsite parking and flexible start and finish times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver environmental extension and education services to the community.
- Support the delivery of environmental grants and organize environmental activities and events.
- Assist in developing public awareness and support for the community's ability to conserve and enhance the natural environment.
- Undertake site-based work two days a week.
- Support the development and delivery of the annual program of marketing, events and education activities for the Natural Environment and Sustainability program.
- Collaborate and engage with local, state, and federal government authorities and other stakeholders to deliver regionally significant environmental services in line with broader organisational objectives.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or similar is essential.
