**About the Client**

Our client is a leading organisation in the education sector located in Melbourne's inner east. Due to an expansion in business operations, they are seeking an experienced and ambitious Billing & Collections Manager to join their finance team.

**The Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:

- Overseeing a team of two
- Developing policy and procedures around credit and customer set up
- Driving the billings process
- Mentoring and training
- Management of major accounts
- Overseeing the collections process and handling escalations
- Handling complex reconciliations
- Developing management reporting and KPI's

**The successful applicant will have**
- Prior management experience in a similar role
- Experience across both Billing and Collections is essential
- Exposure to process improvement and streamlining procedures
- A manager who is passionate about developing their staff
- Excellent communication skills
