Social Media Account Manager

The Social Media Account Manager, reporting to the Head of Social, is responsible for managing and overseeing multiple social media accounts. They will collaborate closely with the Head of Social to understand the social strategy and maintain the document based on client requirements. The Social Media Account Manager will deliver detailed creative content briefs to the content team based on thorough research and assist in content delivery. They will also be responsible for creating and delivering weekly, fortnightly, or monthly content calendars in accordance with AM Group’s process. Additionally, they will utilize Dropbox to manage and organize content effectively and utilize scheduling tools to plan and schedule client content promptly. Regular check-in calls with clients will be conducted bi-weekly to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee a minimum of 8 social media clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Social to understand the social strategy and update the document based on client requirements.
- Conduct thorough research to deliver detailed creative content briefs to the content team.
- Assist the content team in delivering high-quality content.
- Create and deliver weekly, fortnightly, or monthly content calendars based on AM Group’s process.
- Utilize Dropbox to manage and organize content effectively, ensuring full utilization.
- Use scheduling tools to plan and schedule content for clients, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Conduct bi-weekly check-in calls with clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, social media platform changes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Designer for additional content, graphics, and animations.
- Engage in community management and respond to queries and comments promptly.
- Monitor and report on social media metrics, performance, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Continuously improve social media account management processes and identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay proactive in exploring new tools, technologies, and strategies to optimize social media performance.

Required Experience, Skills, or Education:

- Proven work experience in social media management or account management.
- In-depth understanding of all major social media platforms.
- Proficiency in creating engaging content for different platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and various marketing channels.
- Ability to develop and execute social media strategies in line with client objectives.
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and scheduling platforms.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Analytical mindset and ability to derive insights from data.
- BA degree in Marketing, New Media, or a relevant field.

This is a subcontract-based position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients.
