The Turnaround Coordinator (TCO) is responsible for coordinating the departure gate.
**Main accountabilities include**:
- Responsible for a safe, secure & on time arrival & despatch/turnaround of aircraft
- Safely operate aerobridges and open and close aircraft doors
- Board and deboard passengers and airline crew
- Direct gate boarding operation to ensure efficient & secure processing of passengers
- Set up & monitor queuing barriers, signs etc.
- Prepare and manage DCS, (departure control system), boarding control.
- Liaise with ramp, load control, service desk and client carrier staff to process seat changes, upgrades and LMC's (last minute change/check in)
- Liaise with cleaners, engineers, cabin crew, refuellers and other relevant stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring oversize items & arrange hold stowage
- Assist with co-ordination of off scheduled and cancelled operations
- Co-ordinate bussing operations for departure/arrival on remote parking positions
- Complete post flight reports messages.
- Problem solving throughout the flight.
- Other duties as required within skills base.

- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
- Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

- Able to coordinate arrival and departure staff and allocate duties accordingly
- A positive and professional attitude
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- High level attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Demonstrated problem solving ability.
