**The role**:
The Lead Commercial Analyst will deliver expert financial and commercial advice and support within a large and complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment, ensuring the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to operational areas and significant program/project(s).
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Contribute to eHealth Queensland's goals and vision by providing input into strategic business and financial planning processes, including the financial analysis of business initiatives to support sound decision making.
- Provide a wide range of strategic and commercial advice, analysis, and support to complex operational and project areas.
- Build and evaluate complex project, financial, and procurement models and scenarios, use financial data to evaluate and advise on business initiatives, identify commercial risks, and undertake cost evaluation activities.
- Develop and implement effective and robust policies, processes and systems that enhance the level of support provided to clients and key stakeholders.
- Undertake comprehensive financial and commercial evaluation processes involving major procurement activities, and contribute to negotiation processes with external vendors.
- Build and sustain effective networks with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders within eHealth Queensland, across Queensland Health, and the government to ensure outcomes are achieved within set timeframes.
- Model and promote customer service professionalism by advocating a culture of achievement, resilience and excellence across all areas of responsibility.
- Actively encourage the building of organisational capabilities and professional expertise within the team and across eHealth Queensland.
- Comply with applicable legislation, policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
