**About the role**

Based at our **Kingston Branch**, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for arranging the safest, most cost-effective, and efficient transport of equipment for the Coates Business. This can be for interstate, intrastate or customer requirements.

**A typical day will include**
- Source transport services for delivery and pickup of equipment for Coates
- Schedule daily deliveries in Coates’ transport management software using both Coates’ drivers and contractor drivers.
- Liaise with Fleet and Operations departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
- Monthly invoicing for our transport providers.
- Ensure Purchase orders are raised and completed within the given month.
- Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture - _champion safety with your colleagues and customers._

**What you’ll bring to the role**

As well as having amazing customer service skills and a can-do, flexible attitude, you will have:

- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Effective time management and strong attention to detail
- Proven Computer skills (ideally previous experience using Transport Management Systems)
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- A focus on delivering outstanding Customer Service
