If you’re dedicated to assisting people with living the life they choose, supporting them with daily tasks, and achieving long-term goals, this is the role you’ve been looking for. **Key duties and responsibilities**: - Assistance with daily living tasks including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting or assistance with continence aids, eating/feeding, and transferring/mobility assistance - Domestic activities like cleaning, cooking, laundry, and gardening - Community access and outings not limited to driving to medical appointments, social activities, shopping, leisure outings, school activities (drop-off/pick-up) - Supporting or introducing hobbies and activities like arts and crafts, music, sports, learning new skills, reading/tutoring, love for animals, companionship ***Requirements**: - Qualifications in healthcare (individual support, disability, aged care, nursing) and/or relevant experience caring for people with a disability or complex care needs - Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Restrictive Practices is highly desirable - Experience caring for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD or intellectual disabilities in an educational setting preferred - Experience in Medication administration and Seizure management, an advantage - Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening - First Aid and CPR Certificate - NDIS e-Learning Module Certificates - Full COVID-19 vaccination - Current driver's licence with a registered, reliable, and insured vehicle - Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication - Basic computer skills Simply click the "Apply" button and upload a copy of your Resume.
