Love kids & love learning? Want to share your passion and STEM knowledge? We are looking for enthusiastic educators to join our team. Build your leadership, facilitation & communication skills while delivering awesome STEM programs to students in primary & secondary schools.

Educator/Instructor (Primary)

To be successful in this role, you must be a confident speaker, be able to engage with primary school aged students and be passionate about inspiring kids. Background in STEM would be an advantage but not necessary. Your proactive attitude, willingness to learn and creative problem-solving skills will be your most important assets.

Outside of the classroom, you will be responsible for preparing for the lessons, coordinating the roster (eg, shift changes), and coordinating logistics (ensure correct equipment are packed for classes)

About The Environment:

- Primary school, grade: Reception - Year 6
- After-School Classes - run throughout the school term on a weekly basis from 3pm to 5pm
- Incursion Classes - run during school hours, hours vary
- School Holiday Programs - runs during the school holidays
- All training, uniforms, lesson plans and specially designed Lego(r) kits are provided.

The successful applicants (s) will have the following attributes:

- Passionate about inspiring children to be their best
- Willing to tackle problems to make the world a better place
- Confident public speaker
- Customer service experience
- Organised & punctual
- A Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle
- Ability to perform light manual tasks including setting up the venue, carry the Lego(r) kits and cleaning up afterwards.
- Completed Year 12
- Prefer but not necessary: Degree/Diploma or studying towards one in Science, Engineering, ICT, Education, Education Assistance or Child Care
- University students, current or past engineers or educators are welcome to apply
- Hours per week: 10-30

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
