The Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler works within the Engineering and Facilities Services (EFS) Branch, which consists of three teams: Facilities Management; Industrial Engineering; and Products and Process Engineering.

The Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler reports to the Facilities Asset Manager in the Facilities Management team. Their primary focus is to develop and monitor work schedules to support the delivery of maintenance in accordance with the Mint’s Asset Management Strategies, policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLA).

They work collaboratively with other branches across the Mint to coordinate and deliver maintenance for key operational equipment and building infrastructure.

The duties of this position include:

- Developing and monitoring work schedules to deliver maintenance of key operational equipment and building infrastructure with mínimal impact on manufacturing outputs including;
a. planning, scheduling and monitoring maintenance in consultation with the Mint’s Facilities Management, Operations and Engineering teams;
b. monitoring equipment obsolescence, including coordinating repairs and upgrades;
c. using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system collaboratively to ensure availability of parts, and internal and external labour resources;
d. managing procurement and contracts in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules; and
e. complying with the Mint’s Asset Management Strategies and relevant SLAs.
- Administering the CMMS, including auditing data integrity, and providing training and support to Mint employees on its use.
- Analysing data and preparing reports on asset performance, and the utilisation and availability of resources (parts and labour), and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Managing compliance registration of identified hazardous equipment.
- Developing and reviewing work plans to ensure a consistent approach to recurring work orders.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of maintenance programs on time and to the required standard.

**Security clearance**
This position requires a **Baseline** security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
