The Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) is an integrated, collaborative and comprehensive education, skills training and research facility for health professionals, central to the SCUH's vision of providing excellent care through collaboration, enquiry and education. Together, the SCHI partners: SCHHS, University of the Sunshine Coast, TAFE Queensland and the Griffith University School of Medicine and Dentistry, provide a range of educational tools and training to develop and improve the skills of doctors, nurses, allied health workers, health professional and vocational students.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Proactively build the SCHI profile, promoting research and education, identifying new opportunities for collaboration and acting as a champion of the facility.
- Provide advice and support to the SCHI Director on matters of strategy, business development and marketing to ensure the successful delivery of services at the SCHI and maximising potential and growth of the facility.
- Attract commercial opportunities and corporate partnerships through the promotion of the SCHI facilities to external agencies and the cultivation and nurturing of relationships with both existing and potential stakeholders.
