Doree Embroidery is an established embroidery company that has been operating since 1934 and is a family owned business. As Queensland's largest embroidery provider, we have a strong reputation built on the delivery of a quality product and service. We are currently seeking a full time experienced Design Manager to join our innovative team.

Situated in East Brisbane we are looking for a hardworking, experienced and self-motivated individual to perform the role of managing design.

This position works in harmony with the production team and administration teams.

Doree Embroidery uses the latest version of Wilcom software. In addition, we are also specialised in screen printing and heat seal operation. It is desirable that the applicant has software knowledge required for all above mentioned operations.

Our highly integrated system is server based and designs are transferred to embroidery machines from the server.

**Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following**:

- Embroidery digitising using Wilcom Software
- Basic graphic work and knowledge to set up screen printing and heat seal jobs

**Requirements of the role are as follows**:

- Experience as embroidery digitiser desirable
- Experience on graphic software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High appreciation of quality control
- Diligent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues as needed
- Team player who can work collaboratively with operation and administration staff as well as management.
- Takes initiative in day to day tasks
- Desire to learn the system and follow a set procedure

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Wilcom software: 1 year (preferred)
- Graphic software: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Driving License (preferred)
