Reporting to the Senior Design Manager you will be part of the SEQ Delivery team that provides Design Management services throughout the project life cycle. As a Design Manager in this team you will manage multidisciplinary design teams to deliver the design aspects of complex projects to scope, budget, timeframe, and quality requirements.

We have partnered with a rail infrastructure asset owner to source a Design Manager to assist with key projects across our client's rail network in Queensland. Based in the Brisbane CBD this will be a 12-month contract initially with the opportunity of extensions. Hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Projects will include new construction, asset management, network upgrades and track maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to add some key projects to your CV.

Reporting to the Senior Design Manager you will be part of the SEQ Delivery team that provides Design Management services throughout the project life cycle. As a Design Manager in this team you will manage multidisciplinary design teams to deliver the design aspects of complex projects to scope, budget, timeframe, and quality requirements. This includes engaging and managing consultants & designers to ensure all requirements are met and the design is fully coordinated across projects. This will require participation in tender and contract activities such as; coordinating design packages ready for tender, vendor panel section, and tender evaluation.

Skills and Experience required for this role:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineering or similar.
- Significant experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams for complex rail infrastructure projects or other relevant experience.
- Experience managing external design consultants and experience with tenders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
