**The role**

Our Stakeholder Relationship Specialist works with the organisation to determine the key priorities, opportunities and issues to achieve our strategic objectives and supports managers to develop stakeholder relationship strategies to achieve these. The role also enables and supports managers in building and maintaining relationships and in the management of the organisation’s Customer Relationships Management (CRM system).

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Identify priority stakeholders that require strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the organisation achieves its strategic priorities.
- Work with staff to develop engagement plans for significant stakeholders, aligned to business goals. Provide guidance and support as required.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement activities to prevent duplication and ensure efficient use of staff time, targeted to significant stakeholders.
- Work with People and Culture to highlight and encourage staff to attend relevant training to build skills in stakeholder relationships.
- Conduct an annual review with relationship owners to assess previous year activities and plan for the year ahead.
- Provide support and guidance to relationship owners as and when required.
- Create an automated process for reporting on planned and completed stakeholder engagement activities and develop reports as required.
- Monitor key sources of information to ensure information about critical stakeholders is accurate and up to date in CRM.
- Build awareness and capability across the organisation in using CRM to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to capturing stakeholder insights.
- Monitor CRM entries to ensure the quality and appropriateness of the data being entered.

- Stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to empower and guide an organisation in developing strong relationships with critical stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and networking skills and the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to problems.
- Exceptional team player, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff from across disciplines and across all levels of the organisation.
- An applied understanding of customer relationship management systems.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of principles for effective stakeholder relationships management.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work across and manage multiple projects.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline is highly desirable.
