**About the role**

An exciting opportunity to join the Risk & Trading team at Sportsbet on a fixed term basis during their busiest time of the year - Spring racing Our aim is to deliver best-in-category racing product offering and user experience for our customers. Race Day Operators at Sportsbet help manage & monitor betting markets, profile customers, & help to solve customer contacts.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, collaborative, and proactive people to assist in the running of our racing codes. This role would suit those with a high attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. If you are adaptable, well organised and enjoy being at the heart of the action this may be the role for you.

Integrity, modesty, and collaboration are key values in the racing team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Monitor customer betting and market prices.
- Real-time delivery of our Trading Strategies
- Race to Race market management.
- Liability management
- Vigilant for fraud and integrity issues. Ensuring compliance with market regulations
- Competitor benchmarking

This role requires flexibility to work shifts between 8am-11pm, 7 days a week. Weekend and public holiday work is standard.

**About You**
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking capability and the ability to problem solve
- Ability to stay organised and efficient, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, relational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders globally and locally
- Display resilience and initiative, while acting with a high level of integrity
- Risk & Trading experience desirable (not essential)
