.The EPlus Employer Liaison will have a special focus on finding employment opportunities for refugees, many with mínimal levels of English-speaking ability, however possessing a range of valuable skills and professional experience. This role calls on experience in recruitment, business development and relationship management to liaise with employers to identify employment opportunities, which will be passed on to a team of volunteer EPlus Job Mentors to assess suitability and ensure a good match.
- Key responsibilities
- This role will provide you with an opportunity to upgrade your existing recruitment support, stakeholder engagement and database management, skills and understanding by:- Promoting the EPlus program to employers and the community-
- Source employment opportunities-
- Liaise with Job Coaches to convey opportunities-
- Conducting post placement support to both participants and employers-
- Recording all actions undertaken and maintaining records in systemOther activities may include:- Assisting volunteer employment coaches on a day-to-day basis with the running of the employment program-
- Preparing reports as requested to monitor engagementQualifications and skills (desired/required):- Experience or qualifications in, or currently studying Business Management, Community Services, HR or equivalent, is highly desired but not essential-
- Familiarity with the refugee community is highly desirable (but not essential)-
- Experience Human Resources, Business Development or Sales is highly desired-
- Experience in customer service and/or administration is desired, with strong attention to detail-
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite-
- Confidence in using, or willingness to learn, online HR systems (desired but not essential as training will be provided)Capabilities and personal attributes :- Manage Self: Presents a demeanour that is appropriate to work setting and role; shows personal motivation and commitment to completing work activities effectively.-

- Lead Safety and Wellbeing: Performs all duties in a safe manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of self and others; participates in and contributes to WHS consultation.-
- Demonstrate Accountability: Takes responsibility and is accountable for own actions in line with TSA policies and procedures; supports and acts in compliance with the records, information and knowledge management requirements of TSA.-
- Think Analytically and Solve Problems: Finds and checks information needed to complete own work tasks; shares ideas about ways to improve work tasks and solve problems; identifies ways to improve systems or processes which are used by the team/unit/department.- Background check requirements:

As this role is a child-related role, it requires a Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People Check (ACT and TAS only)-
