**About the Role**
Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team. We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

**We currently have a casual opportunity available in Werribee for school pick up and drop off.**
Required to pick up child participant from his house in Werribee at 7:30am and drive him to school in Niddre.
Pick up from school (Niddrie) at 3:00pm and drive home to Werribee.
Immediate start this Thursday 9th March

**About You**
Qualities we’re looking for to be successful in this role:

- Have a passion for assisting and working with people from all walks of life/with a range of disabilities and comfortable providing high-quality support with respect and dignity.
- Be flexible to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, including weekends, sleepover and/or active night shifts, urgent/cover shifts (with respect to the availability of our employees).
- Be reliable and have a good work ethic.
- Have a friendly and professional attitude.
- Be empathetic, calm, patient and compassionate by nature.
- Be able to build a rapport easily with clients and co-workers.
- Maintain professional boundaries.
- Be willing to learn new skills, undertake ongoing training and be part of a team.
- Have the ability to be flexible, strong, quick-thinking and adaptable when responding to challenging or unexpected situations that may arise.
- Maintain communication with the business manager(s) (including shift notes and incident reports) as required and be receptive to feedback.
- Complete relevant NDIS Worker modules as required.
- Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct and S.A.F.E. Employment Agreement.
- Studying or completed Certificate III or higher in Disability or equivalent health field *Desired, but not required.

**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Approximately $123).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.
