Finance Officer (Parental Leave Cover)
- Adelaide 5000 (Full-Time, 1.0 FTE)

**_A collaborative, dynamic and diversified role, in a small team as part of a longstanding and reputable non-for-profit organisation_**

**The Role**
- The Finance Officer works in collaboration with the finance team and fleet management to undertaker a dual focus role which is responsible for the:
- Provision of general finance support, including but not limited to, support to the finance business partners, accounts payable and accounts receivable in the not-for-profit setting.
- Provision of finance support to Centacare’s fleet management (CarCenta), which encompasses fleet management for both internal and external clients across the Adelaide Archdiocese.
- The Finance Officer will be required to provide a high quality of customer service both to the internal and external fleet customers, but also offer dedicated and flexible support to the broader finance team, as business needs require, to assist with enhancing performance and achieving team goals.This is a 12-month Parental Leave fixed-term opportunity.Please read over the position description before applying, to ensure the role is right for you.**What you need to bring**

**Essential**
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proven customer service skills and stakeholder relationship management
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
- Proven experience in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to problem solve.
- A high degree of attention to detail.
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (previously known as ‘Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance’).

**Desirable**
- Qualifications or certifications in accounting or business administration.
- Knowledge of Fleet Operations and Fleet management systems.
- Working knowledge of Technology One Financials.
