We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Senior Collections Officer
to join one of Australia's leading personal loan providers. What you'll do

  • Manage and resolve escalated and complex collections cases with professionalism and empathy.
  • Lead case management of long-dated and high-risk collections matters.
  • Oversee and review daily arrears reporting and trend analysis, providing actionable insights to Credit & Operations teams.
  • Engage with customers and related parties through inbound and outbound calls to negotiate tailored repayment solutions.
  • Prepare reporting and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders, including legal escalation where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the collections process.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in collections, credit or financial services, ideally in a senior or complex case-handling role.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • High emotional intelligence with an exemplary phone manner.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
  • A sound understanding of collections legislation and litigation processes.
  • A collaborative, hands-on attitude — a true team player.
