What you'll do
- Manage and resolve escalated and complex collections cases with professionalism and empathy.
- Lead case management of long-dated and high-risk collections matters.
- Oversee and review daily arrears reporting and trend analysis, providing actionable insights to Credit & Operations teams.
- Engage with customers and related parties through inbound and outbound calls to negotiate tailored repayment solutions.
- Prepare reporting and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders, including legal escalation where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the collections process.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in collections, credit or financial services, ideally in a senior or complex case-handling role.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- High emotional intelligence with an exemplary phone manner.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
- A sound understanding of collections legislation and litigation processes.
- A collaborative, hands-on attitude — a true team player.
