The Opportunity: A well-regarded and growing organisation is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support its finance team during a busy period. This is an ideal role for a finance professional with strong administrative and accounting support skills who is comfortable managing high volumes of work and navigating multiple systems. This short-term contract will suit someone with availability for an immediate start.
Role Overview
Reporting to a Senior Manager, this Finance Officer will assist with a range of finance and administrative support tasks, with a focus on invoicing and client account management for NDIS and Homecare services. You will also be responsible for handling finance-related queries and contributing to overall team efficiency during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually pull and send invoices to providers
- Monitor and respond to queries in the shared finance inbox, especially those related to NDIS invoicing
- Enter and update banking details in client accounts using Salesforce
- Review notes in SharePoint and compile them into reports for further action by the team
- Assist with general finance admin and ad hoc duties across the Homecare and NDIS functions
- Support reconciliations and financial data accuracy where required
Candidate Profile
You are a proactive and adaptable finance professional with experience in invoice processing, data entry, and stakeholder communication. You bring strong attention to detail and are confident using systems such as Salesforce and SharePoint. Experience within the NDIS or community services sector will be highly regarded, along with a collaborative approach and ability to quickly pick up new tasks.
