**About the College**:
Robert Menzies College is an incorporated not-for-profit residential College affiliated with Macquarie University. We are a university based living and learning community with strong academic and pastoral support for all our residents. **About the Job**:
Our Student Services function is currently undertaken in collaboration with Wild Hive - a vibrant, collaborative, cross-functional, communications, marketing and creative agency specialising in the NFP space. You’ll work collaboratively with the RMC team as the Wild Hive representative - we believe that people work better in flexible teams, so we select and embed high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams within organisations that we work with.

As the Student Services Coordinator, you’ll be working in a part time capacity (ideally 3 days per week) to develop and maintain programs designed to enhance student and community life. The role will encompass a wide range of activities, including:

- Working collaboratively with the marketing team to market and promote the College to potential student residents
- Supporting our resident students with day to day issues and queries
- Assisting with the delivery of premium events throughout the year including Conferences and Open Days.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships and fortnightly reporting.

**About You**:
You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and are able to build strong client and team relationships both with the Wild Hive and the RMC teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll also have:

- An understanding, or an ability to quickly develop an understanding of the residential collegiate life and the University environment and its culture;
- An ability to support the Colleges’ culture and student activities
- An ability to develop and maintain effective leadership of residents in a scholastic living environment
- Well-developed leadership and pastoral care skills, desirably in the areas of young people living away from home for the first time
- Ability to perform effectively and professionally in a complex and challenging environment including mental health and Resident wellbeing related incidents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with people at all levels within the organisation and externally
- A relatable nature, and a demonstrated understanding of the Christian not for profit charitable sector.
