**WHAT WE NEED?**

Challenger is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven casual handyman to join our team, working at a prestigious school in central Sydney. In this hands-on largely autonomous role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to working to a high level of safety, delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services, based on our award-winning standards and our client’s needs.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO?**

Undertake routine repair work and building maintenance of a non-trade nature including:

- Repairing minor damage to surfaces such as gyprock walls
- Basic repairs to toilet facilities
- Basic repairs of furniture and joinery
- Maintenance of school lockers, doors and hinges

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED?**

To be considered for this role, it’s expected that you’ll:

- Have proven experience in a similar role as a general handyman
- Have a valid working with children check
- Previous experience working in a maintenance role that requires a sense of urgency and quick response times
- Proven experience working to a schedule and high standards of finish
- Solid understanding of WHS and safe work practices associated with manual handling, tool operations and usage
- Proven experience in achieving consistent outcomes in an autonomous environment
