**The role**
The primary purpose of this role is to support existing products and services and develop new and innovative solutions that will position Allianz as the leading personal injury provider in terms of claim and customer practices and outcomes. The role provides strategic guidance to the Worker’s Compensation business and clients, driving the operationalisation and successful implementation of existing and new injury recovery programs.
**You'll be responsible for**
- Developing, leading, and executing projects, programs and initiatives for the Government Services business that contribute to worker wellbeing and improved employer and workplace RTW outcomes.
- Leading the development and execution of strategic programs and services that reduce the commercial and human impact of workplace injuries, ensuring compliance with relevant Worker’s Compensation (WC) legislation and guidelines.
- Driving project success through collaborative leadership, stakeholder engagement and commitment to deliverables within the scope of agreed time frames.
- Researching new and emerging personal injury programs and tools from local and international jurisdictions and identifying opportunities to implement those programs within the Government Services business.
- Representing the Government Services business at industry events, forums and employer presentations. Generate awareness of Allianz’ service offerings and customer value proposition.
- Partnering with the Personal Injury Programs and Innovation team in the delivery of strategic initiatives, enhancing customer propositions across the Personal Injury Division.
**About you**
- Extensive experience in a provider management, project management or specialist role in a personal injury environment
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant Commonwealth, State and/or Territory regulatory and legislative requirements for the businesses operating within Government Services
- Demonstrated evidence of developing and implementing claim strategies that support organisational goals and positive customer outcomes.
- Ability to manage contract negotiations and agreements to ensure favourable health, social and commercial outcomes for Allianz and Allianz Government Services customers.
- Demonstrated ability to build on and foster positive team culture and robust processes for the delivery of coaching and support of claims teams across the Government Services business.
