**The Role: - Care Service Employee**

In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" located in our warm and welcoming Facility in Tweed Heads South.

Take a look around - St Joseph's Nursing Home Residential Aged Care facility.

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

- Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
- Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
- Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids
- Assist in mealtimes and social activities

I will be in Tweed Heads, Civic & Cultural Centre on Tuesday the 23rd of August for a morning SCC Careers session if you would like to come and meet me in person

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support or a willingness to study towards a certification
- Experience in similar role in aged care or transferable skills we can build upon
- A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
- Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Provide evidence of COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
- Reliable and trustworthy - our residents are depending on you
