Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west. Our tagline ‘dare to be more’ is not only our goal for our students, it applies equally to our staff.

**Who is the MLC School girl?**

**About the position**

As an Art Tutor, you will be responsible for **coaching students in the co-curricular art programs which include mixed media, photography and film, pottery and anime/comics**.
Key responsibilities include:

- provide instruction and explanation of art, outining the technical requirements and actively involving students in training
- provide feedback to students on an ongoing basis
- with the goal of developing the fullest potential in all student, establish positive and proactive relationships by fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
- mentor a team of art students
- prepare and execute mini challenges for students to participate in

**Selection Criteria**:

- Hold a current NSW Working With Children's Check and First Aid Certificate
- State of the art facilities and collegiate environment

- Access to the School’s gym and indoor Aquatic Centre
