Casual Art Tutor
MLC School is looking for casual art tutors who will support our vision to educate and inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion to be agents of change in their own lives and in the lives of others.
About MLC School
Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney's inner-west. Our tagline 'dare to be more' is not only our goal for our students, it applies equally to our staff.

About the position
As an Art Tutor, you will be responsible for coaching students in the co-curricular art programs which include mixed media, photography and film, pottery and anime/comics.
Key responsibilities include:
- provide instruction and explanation of art, outining the technical requirements and actively involving students in training
- provide feedback to students on an ongoing basis
- with the goal of developing the fullest potential in all student, establish positive and proactive relationships by fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.
- mentor a team of art students
- prepare and execute mini challenges for students to participate in
- apply all instructions issued bu the Director of Experiential Learning
Selection Criteria:
Experience in a variety of art subjects such as mixed media, photography and film, pottery and anime/comics
Hold a current NSW Working With Children's Check and First Aid Certificate
