A great opportunity has arisen to join Zurich’s Life & Investments Finance team as a Reinsurance Data Operations Team Leader.

In this key role, you will oversee the data operations management of the Life Reinsurance function to ensure compliance with reinsurance agreements. Partnering with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will manage reinsurance queries and drive process improvement to enhance our customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing oversight of life reinsurance-related operational policy administration activities
- Generation and reporting of life insurance data reinsurance premiums bordereaux to reinsurers
- Resolving reinsurer queries, escalations and providing timely resolutions
- Operational and financial reporting to meet business needs
- Developing, preparing, analysing and/or reviewing complex internal or external reinsurance reports
- Providing oversight of the team to review and update operating procedures and control elements related to reinsurance functions
- Liasing with internal and external stakeholders to analyse and address the impact of data on reinsurance processes

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in life insurance, preferably reinsurance administration
- Demonstrated capability in data management tools and communicating technical issues to internal and external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the life insurance market and reinsurance processes
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary Finance and business teams.
- Accomplished leadership capability including successfully coaching & mentoring talent
- An investigative mindset and innate ability to implement solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
