Breaking Barriers Disability Services is an NDIS Registered Provider and services all areas from Sydney through to Newcastle. We pride ourselves on providing person centered supports to our Participants through Community Access, In Home Supports, Social Supports, Coordination of Supports, Supported Independent Living and Community Nursing. Our Programs are tailored to provide people living with disabilities and their families, services to help them live safely and comfortably at home while actively enjoying their local Community.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Our organisation is expanding and we are seeking to employ a weekend After Hours Roster Clerk on a Permanent Part Timebasis. The position would require you to work from home on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 5pm - 6am.

As the After Hours Roster Clerk you will be responsible for ensuring that Participants’ needs are met by allocating staff with the appropriate skill set.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Monitoring the after hours phone line and appropriately action any incoming enquiries including replacing staff who call in sick and providing guidance to Participants who are unwell.
- On Call reporting - keeping a detailed log of calls taken after hours and the actions taken to respond to enquiries.
- Assisting with Rostering Administration.
- Ensuring employees are working within award conditions and ensure correct costing is applied to supports.
- Liaising with the Payroll department to ensure accuracy of staff wages.
- Monitoring rosters and schedules to ensure that the support delivered to Participants reflect their current service agreement.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check for Paid Employment
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be completed if successful)
- Basic Infection Prevention & Control Orientation Module (can be completed if successful)
