**About You**:

- As the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our facilities.
- You will manage a team dedicated to cleaning standards, develop best practices, and ensure a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
- Additionally, you will be involved in managing small maintenance tasks and improving operational processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership**: Lead, inspire, and manage the facility team, ensuring high cleaning standards are met across all areas.
- **Process Development**: Develop and implement best practices and processes to improve efficiency, cleanliness, and safety in the facility.
- **Maintenance Management**: Perform and supervise small maintenance work to ensure the facility’s functionality. Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
- **Safety Culture**: Create and enforce a safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Lead safety training initiatives and ensure the team is aware of safety protocols.
- **Budget Management**: Oversee the budget for the facility, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for cleaning supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and review cleaning standards and maintenance work to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments to ensure that facility needs align with business requirements and to address any issues promptly.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience in facility management, cleaning, and maintenance roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Hands-on experience with small maintenance work and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to foster a culture of safety.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor cleaning standards and processes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in facility management or health and safety.
- Ability to handle budget and resource management.
