As one of our Principal Industry Leads - you will **identify opportunities and plan and delivery strategic initiatives** that support your focus industry and help us drive and deliver on our Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS). You'll:

- Lead Council’s programming to support the region’s thriving Food and Agribusiness industry.
- Be the lead for Council’s response to workforce development opportunities, aligned to our REDS objectives.
- Provide leadership to a small team (currently 2), focused on supporting our local businesses under the Queensland Small Business Friendly Council initiative.
- Influence and manage networks of key stakeholders across the public and private sectors on matters related to industry advancement and sustainable economic growth of the region.
- Represent our team and organisation in a range of forums and meetings showcasing the Moreton Bay Region as an ideal business location.

Since establishing the Regional Economic Development Strategy, the economy has grown by 9.9% - that’s an extra $2.7 billion in gross regional product and $600 million ahead of where we thought we’d be by now... join us and help us continue to strive for success
