**The Role**

The Head of Product & Marketing (HPM) has a global remit and is responsible for the company product and marketing planning, strategy development and execution through the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the brand vision and strategy, working closely with sales and operations departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Some out of hour’s work will be required.

key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a best practice strategy development framework for product and marketing planning with the team.
- Analyse market trends and identify new opportunities for the brand.
- Work with the Product Managers on analysis of competitor offerings and provide recommendations.
- Analyse direct and non-direct competitor offerings and activities and provide regular updates to the business.
- Develop and implement best practice 'Commercial Guidelines' to drive contracting focus, consistency, and commercial outcomes.
- Review guests and market feedback - monitor and report as needed.
- Lead and manage the administration of the Procurement Region including research and product development and distribution of relevant and timely information.
- Develop and deliver the AW global marketing strategy. Includes brand health tracking and object setting for the acquisition, conversion, and retention of travellers.
- Work with the senior leadership team to define and execute global and regional B2C strategies and initiatives to achieve a key goal of being a leader on B2C/consumer-engaged brand and business model.
- Develop and lead the regional implementation of promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across all B2C and B2B channels.
- Manage media buying to plan, implement full-funnel media activations, and execute all digital media efforts aligned to an integrated global content plan. Identify trends and insights to optimise brand strategy, spend and performance, and establish plans and processes for improvements.

**Travel requirements**:
Some interstate and international travel required.

**About you**
- Degree qualified in marketing or tourism related disciplines Previous product development experience managing a diverse product portfolio region/area and team.
- Essential - Previous experience negotiating contracted rates and conditions.
- Essential - Proven relationship building skills and Excellent communication skills.
- Essential - Previous experience in training for sales and reservations teams
- Essential - Thorough knowledge of the Global Travel Industry
- Essential - Demonstrated experience in Microsoft suite.
- Highly desirable - Thorough working knowledge of Adventure Worlds Core operating destinations.
