Prestigious NFP looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant looking to pursue a career with a rare combination of accounting admin & events

**The Client**

Based in the central CBD, this prestige NFP organisation are looking for an Accounts & Office Assistant to join their small, close knit team and support the Finance Manager. They can offer flexibility with working hours and excellent career progression

You will have the opportunity to attend events and conferences throughout the year and can develop and progress your career in the future. You need to be able to prioritise, and juggle tasks efficiently to get the job done and would suit someone who has a keen eye for detail and an interest in accounts

**Key Responsibilities**
- Accounting duties such as invoicing, and reconciling accounts
- In charge of the administration for the office and events including Budgets and booking requirements
- Using events platform (Eventbrite) and work closely with the Corporate Events Coordinator
- Ensuring relevant legislation and processes are followed at all times
- Monitoring Donations
- Monthly reporting to the Director
- Managing incoming queries for events
- Ability to understand and use accounting software

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience in an administration role ideally with a finance focus
- Previous experience in community fundraising events requiring engagement with community groups and volunteers is highly regarded
- Experience with data entry, data checking and database maintenance, queries and running a range of reports
- Good Microsoft excel, and Word computer programs skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and respect the deadlines
- Attention to details with organisational skills to manage projects
