3 month procurement support role in a busy team

**Your new organisation**

This local Government is seeking a procurement support officer to assist their busy procurement team. Based South of the River, the role is an initial 3-month temporary assignment, with the potential for extension.

**Your new role**

Within this position, you will be responsible for delivering support to the procurement team in an efficient manner. Your duties and responsibilities will include maintenance of the procurement register, document preparation, and assisting with procurement related enquiries.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

In order to succeed, you will have prior experience in providing support to an internal procurement team, or other Government administration in general. A good working knowledge of procurement will be highly regarded.

**What you’ll get in return**

In return, you will have the opportunity to work in a flexible 3-month local Government contract. The hourly rate for this role will be between $30 - $35/hour + superannuation.
