Our client is currently seeking a IT Related Disaster Recovery Manager to join a dynamic organisation that is growing. This is a permanent role and the person will also have good risk management experience and business continuity knowlege.

The Disaster Recovery Manager provides strategic and operational advice, guidance and support to the business on Information Technology risk management, internal audit, emergency management, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

**_Please note this is an IT based Risk and DR Management role._**

**_Based in either Perth - seeking applicants based currently based in either Perth right now._**
Applicants must have either PR, Australian Citizenship or a partner visa with zero restrictions on work.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement and continuously improve critical business frameworks
- Provide advice to senior management on emerging, enterprise and other risks
- Undertake risk assessments for the whole of business in accordance with the framework
- Develop and undertake statistical, dashboard, Executive and Board reporting across a variety of functions, forums and committees in a timely and articulate manner
- Develop and validate emergency and continuity plans; assist with the planning and execution of exercises and assist with management of incidents

**Experience Required**
As a key part of our clients' risk and disaster recovery processes, ideally you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in risk management, internal audit and/or emergency management/business continuity
- Demonstrated experience in risk, audit or emergency/continuity management in medium to large organisations, with the proven ability to be able to quickly adapt to functions where there is lesser experience
- Experience in the timely and professional provision of advice, guidance and support to the business on all functional activities
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking risk assessments, workshops, reporting and both technical and non-technical discussions
- Proven experience in the development of frameworks and processes
- Working knowledge of risk management methodologies including risk identification and assessment, control testing and reporting (in accordance with the Standard)
