About You

We are seeking personal Care workers who are passionate about working in Aged Care Residential and have a good understanding of the Aged Care Standards with previous Aged Care experience.

You will provide a high-quality care to the residents, working independently and part of a team. This will involve assistance with resident hygiene, daily living & lifestyle activities.

You will carry out your duties in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Olivet Care’s policies and procedures.

You will have a strong connection with our rostering teams and your supervisor and team leader, who will offer you the support you need.

Duties of the role

Assist residents with their personal care & hygiene needs whilst encouraging independence
Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and other staff members
Deliver excellent customer service
Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Team leader or Registered Nurse
Provide proper documentation after every shift using e-case
Taking a reasonable care for your health and safety and others
Not to be under the influence and/or use of alcohol or drugs while at work

What you will need to succeed

Minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/ Individual support or Home & Community Care pr Cert IV Disability, Bachelor of Nursing or Completed first
- year study towards it
Current level 2 First Aid Certificate
Ability to use Microsoft and other Olivet Care software products as required
Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills (for rosters, eLearning, progress notes, etc.)
Enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills
Current National Police Certificate clearance/NDIS Screening Check
COVID 19 and Flu Vaccinations evidence
Have full Australian working rights
