The carer lived experience support worker for Austin Child and Youth Mental Health Service is a newly created position that will be providing lived experience expertise to support families accessing the Austin CYMHS service eating disorder program and treatment. This role will involve providing support to families through the assessment and treatment process, as well as the opportunity for facilitating carer support groups and contribution to service planning. The role will support us navigate the expansion of service in line with the Royal Commission into Mental Health recommendations. If you are passionate and experienced caring for a young person who has accessed treatment in the public child and youth mental health sector health and enjoy shaping new teams and services for young people and their families we are keen for you you to join us
