**LIVED EXPERIENCE WORKER - CARER SUPPORT**
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Carer Support Worker to join our new Statewide Child & Family Centre located in Macleod on a permanent part time basis.
The successful applicant will have lived experience as a family member or carer of a person with mental illness who has required treatment in the Victorian Public Mental Health system. The Lived Experience Worker - Carer Support is an integral member of the Centre's multidiciplinary team. The role provides carer support to consumer families and carers, following engagement with the Centre, using personal lived experience to provide a model of hope and recovery, including direct and over the phone support.

**About the Statewide Child & Family Centre**:
The Victorian-first centre will focus on early intervention to support children up to the age of eleven and their families in a purpose-built building, providing specialised therapeutic residential and day program services. Up to three families can stay at any one time to receive 24 hour-a-day care from specialised child and family mental health carers.
