**About the Role**

TAFE Gippsland is seeking a highly accomplished and experienced leader to join our Educational Delivery team in this key role. The Program Manager is responsible for the leadership of staff within the Plumbing, High Risk and Civil team, ensuring delivery consistency across multiple campuses and for driving continuous improvements to ensure training is of the highest quality and student attendance, retention and achievement are maximised. Reporting to the Head of Department, the Program Manager is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of current course offerings and for the implementation and growth of new course opportunities. The Program Manager supports the implementation and growth of courses including meeting the training needs of industry within Gippsland.

As a Vocational Educational Leader, a Program Manager introduces contemporary and innovative approaches to teaching and assessment, including blended learning choices, the introduction of digital technologies and the use of collaborative approaches to improve learning outcomes. The Program Manager quickly grasps concepts and ways of working to empower educators to create collaborative, inclusive learning environments. Travel across Campuses is required. A six-month probation period applies to this position.

**Your Experience and Qualifications**

You have a Certificate IV TAE40122 (or equivalent). A minimum AQF5 level teaching qualification is desirable, along with substantial teaching experience. You can advise, interpret and translate relevant framework and regulation requirements.You have specialist knowledge and skills in the development and coordination of training programs, resources and curriculum. Experience and knowledge in the program areas is advantageous.

You have demonstrated experience in leading a team of successful professionals and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proven experience in developing community and industry networks.

All TAFE Gippsland staff require a current Drivers Licence, employee Working with Children Clearance and satisfactory National Police Check.
