**OH&S Quality and Training Coordinator**

**Part-time 4 days per week**

**Based in Morwell with some travel to site locations throughout Gippsland**

**About the role**

As an OH&S Quality Coordinator you will provide direct support to the Management Team with regard to our OHS risk management, administration, and compliance.

You will be partnering with our workers and clients to ensure safe best practice in our workplaces, out in the community, and in client’s homes. You will manage the organisational schedule of policy review to guarantee appropriate accreditations and compliance with regulatory standards. Ensuring ongoing and annual reviews of our policies and procedures, the OH&S Quality Coordinator will educate workers in best practice and use of quality and safety systems as well as developing any associated training.

As an experienced OH&S administration professional, you will maintain our safety and quality assurance policy and procedures. Your resourcefulness in a changing environment will provide solutions to safety protocols whilst keeping the wellbeing of clients and workers at the forefront of our practice.

A working knowledge of Covid Safe practices, NDIS standards, and WorkSafe practice is required. In addition to the improvement of administration processes, the OH&S Quality Coordinator will actively provide hands on support/training to our clients and workers off site as needed. They will coordinate annual satisfaction surveys and maintain continuous improvement registers to support Management in responding to feedback.

This role is held to a high degree of trust and autonomy at Headway Gippsland, at times in sensitive and confidential circumstances. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential to the role.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA (KSC)**

1. Tertiary qualification in OHS, Compliance Management, or Quality Auditing

2. Completion (or enrolment) WorkSafe Victoria-approved HSR initial OHS training qualification is required

3. Demonstrated experience in a similar role

5. Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion to maintain complete confidentiality

6. High level computer skills and the ability to pick up new programs and business systems with ease
