**Job Summary**:
As the Stock Availability Planner for Hill’s ANZ you will be working with our local and global teams to deliver service level goals while meeting our inventory targets.

You will own the day to day logistics operation in New Zealand, providing a best in class delivery service by building trust with the local Hill’s team and establishing great relationships with external suppliers and customers.

You will be empowered to work with our Global Supply Chain partners and the local commercial team to agree supply plans, prioritise and allocate stock and provide inventory projections.

In this role you will be trusted to problem solve and to provide relevant and timely communication.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Supply and Demand Synchronisation**
- Agree shipment plans with Hill’s Supply Plants and Global Customer Services (CBS) to

maintain service levels while ensuring that inventory is within the target range
- Ensure that low inventory products are allocated fairly to customers
- Work with Logistics Providers to prioritise containers for unload on the basis of inventory

priority, space and and other constraints
- Monitor planning master data (eg transit time and safety stock) and propose changes to reflect

the current supply situation

**Inventory Risk Reporting and Control**
- Based on the latest sales and supply information, prepare weekly supply risk reports and work

cross-functionally to reduce the impact on service level
- Prepare monthly SLOB and Short-Dated stock reports and work with the commercial team to

build clearance plans
- Create inventory projections and align with Hill’s Supply Plants on changes to the shipment

plans
- Take ownership of inventory reporting to improve and automate where possible

**New Zealand Logistics**
- Support the logistics operation in NZ by leading day to day operations to align with commercial

priorities
- Lead collaboration with customers and local Commercial Team and work with the Demand

Planner to improve forecast accuracy and ensure that customer requirements are being met
- Ensure that supplier invoices are correct and that costs are in line with the Budget, identifying

any major differences
- Identify and implement logistics efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
- Participate in the Global Warehouse Quality Audit process to maintain compliance with the

required quality standards

**Import and Documentation Control**
- Work with CBS, Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers to ensure that import documents are available on time for clearance to be completed before vessel arrival
- Work with Regulatory Affairs and CBS to resolve any issues with supplied documents
- Where documents are not available assess alternatives, for example under bond storage
- Raise supply and costs risks associated with late document arrival and propose actions to

improve the process.

**NPD Supply**
- Work with supplying plants to ensure the timely supply of NPD and transition products
- Highlight any delays or risk to on-time supply and escalate as necessary
- Co-ordinate arrival with commercial team and customers for initial orders

**Required Qualifications**:
1.Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Supply Chain role with knowledge of supply planning,inventory management, logistics and SAP (or similar)

2.Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or Logistics
