What to Expect
- Tesla is looking for a Consumer Engagement Specialist to support the consumer engagement function with various responsibilities including content creation, lead generation, social media, digital project development and retail marketing campaigns in Australia and New Zealand.
- The position is based in Australia and reports to the Consumer Engagement Manager.

What You’ll Do
- Support Consumer Engagement Manager in developing a targeted marketing plan with a coherent integration of marketing tactics, digital and CRM activities to achieve business goals.
- Assist in the development and manage the execution of a comprehensive campaign calendar with centralized tracking of all regional marketing activity including lead generation events, digital partnerships, social media and external corporate events.
- Monitor the success of marketing and social media efforts and share evaluation with relevant teams in timely manner
- Create innovative brand messaging that engages consumers across social media and owned channels.
- Identify and support on regional events and activities to generate quality leads for stores across Australia and New Zealand.
- Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against company goals.
- Work with Regional Sales team on consistent and effective messaging of external documents and promotional materials to support marketing activities (e.g. collateral).
- Assist in creating and implementing social media strategy and digital campaigns with quarterly, monthly, and weekly execution plan.
- Ensure compliance with global brand strategy and corporate identity for Tesla Motors.
- Support media requests, scheduling vehicle loans and logistics.
- Manage third-party businesses as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content for various business initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth.
- Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels and key opinion leaders/influencers.
- Create actionable plans to both grow followers of current channels and expand communication channels with creative and out of box approaches.

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years+ experience in digital marketing and integrated communications.
- Excellent communication and copy-writing skills.
- Degree in marketing management, advertising, communications, or similar.
- Proven experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns.
- Solid knowledge of social media analytics and management tools.
- Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities.
- Maintain a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic that is required to drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional strategic thinker and analytical skills; ability to address cross-functional and cross-organisational issues independently, including collaborating with teams from different countries.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Result driven, hands-on, positive “can do” attitude, passionate and able to show commitment and to inspire others.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-oriented environment.
- Strategically planning with strong project execution and negotiation skills.
